?¢‚Ǩ?ìVindicate me, O Lord, for I have led a blameless life; I have trusted in the Lord without wavering.?¢‚Ǩ¬ù?Ǭ† Psalm 26:1?Ǭ†?Ǭ† As I read this verse during my prayer time, I found that I could not pray this Psalm along with David.?Ǭ† David says ?¢‚Ǩ?ìI have trusted in the Lord without wavering.?¢‚Ǩ¬ù?Ǭ† Without doubting.?Ǭ† When God sent David to fight the giant, Goliath, David trusted God without wavering.?Ǭ† He was probably afraid of the giant yet he was able to say in Psalm 56:3-4, ?¢‚Ǩ?ìWhen I am afraid I will trust in you.?Ǭ† In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid.?Ǭ† What can mortal men do to me??¢‚Ǩ¬ù?Ǭ† Am I trusting in God without wavering??Ǭ† Proverbs 3:5-6 says, ?¢‚Ǩ?ìTrust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.?¢‚Ǩ¬ù?Ǭ† I want to trust God in all circumstances; without wavering; without doubting. REPORT CARDS?Ǭ† If you have not picked up your child’s report card yet, please contact your child’s teacher for an appointment.?Ǭ† Report cards must be picked up by Monday or your child will not be allowed in school on Tuesday.

You can’t teach every child to be a leader, but you can help children know which leader to follow.

Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. 1 John 4:8?Ǭ† Love is patient and kind. 1 Corinthians 13:4a?Ǭ† Last week we broke 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 down into four different categories describing love according to God. They are: Category #1?¢‚Ǩ‚ÄùWhat love is. Category #2?¢‚Ǩ‚ÄùWhat love is not. Category #3?¢‚Ǩ‚ÄùWhat love does not do. Category #4?¢‚Ǩ‚ÄùWhat love does do. This week we will take a closer look at Category #1?¢‚Ǩ‚ÄùWhat love is. God?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s Word say?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s that love is made up of two things: Patience and Kindness. That, then, also is what God is: Patient and Kind. We clearly see how patient God is with us when we realize how sinful we are. We constantly break His commandments and laws. He patiently works to move us to repent of our sin of disobedience and waits for us come to Him for forgiveness and strength to change. While He patiently waits, He is kind to us. He sends rain to grow the crop of a sinful man the same way He sends rain to grow the crop of a righteous man.?Ǭ† He gives the beauty of His creation to both the sinner and the just man to enjoy. He gives families to both. He gives rest to both. He feeds both. He is patient and kind. Now let us measure ourselves by this standard. How do we respond when someone is sinning against us? Are we patient while we wait for them to realize what they are doing? Can we treat them kindly while we wait? Do we do things that will draw them to us by our love for them? Or do we seek revenge??Ǭ† If we are to practice the love of God, we need to respond to other men and women in the same way that God works with us. God said that if we do not love we do not know God because God is love.?Ǭ†
THINGS THAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
